Laura Devlin, PA-C

Laura graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a double major in Spanish from Houston Baptist University. She then obtained her Masters in Physician Assistant Studies from The University of Texas Medical Branch. Laura has a wealth of experience having worked in the cardiovascular intensive care unit at Houston Methodist Hospital as well as in outpatient clinics in both gastroenterology and women’s health. HKC’s first Physician Assistant, she is conversational in Spanish and specializes in the care of patients with kidney disease.

Allyson Gibson, MS APRN ACNP-BC

Allyson graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Austin. She started her career working at Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, TX in the Cardiopulmonary Intensive Care Unit and subsequently worked in the Liver and Kidney Transplant Intensive Care Unit at Memorial Hermann Hospital TMC (Houston). Allyson completed her Master of Science in Nursing at Texas Woman’s University. In addition to transplant, she also has prior work experience in oncology at the MD Anderson Cancer Center. A Board-certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, Allyson now specializes in caring for patients with kidney disease.

 

Palak Patel, FNP-C

Palak graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the College of Nursing at the Civil Hospital in Ahmedabad, India. After moving to Houston, she worked as an acute care nurse at Houston Methodist Hospital TMC while earning a Master of Science in Nursing from Prairie View A&M University. A Board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner, Palak initially served as a primary clinic provider at the Medinet Clinic in Sugar Land, TX and subsequently transitioned to specialize in the care of patients with kidney disease.

Sarah Weaver Stevenson, MSN APRN AGACNP-BC

Sarah graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Florida. She began her nursing career in the cardiothoracic surgery step-down unit at Emory University Hospital and the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital. After moving to Houston, she worked in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit at Houston Methodist Hospital TMC and completed her Master of Science in Nursing at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. A Board-certified Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, Sarah now specializes in the care of patients with kidney disease.

 

Judy Wilson, MS APRN ACNP-BC CNN-NP

Judy graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from the University of Houston and also earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Austin, where was inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. She obtained a Master of Science in Nursing at Texas Woman's University (TWU) and now serves as Adjunct Professor for graduate and undergraduate nursing studies at TWU. Judy previously worked as a critical care nurse at Houston Methodist Hospital TMC, where she served as a preceptor and charge nurse in the Surgical ICU. She also has prior work experience in transplant, cardiac and cardiovascular intensive care, pulmonary critical care, heart failure, and oncology. A Board-certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner and Certified Nephrology Nurse Practitioner (CNN-NP), Judy now specializes in the care of patients with kidney disease.
